For the third year in a row, the Board of the Khatchik Babikian Foundation has presented awards to students from the Armenian community in Lebanon for excellence in Armenian language, literature, history and culture and in the ecclesiology and tradition of the Armenian Orthodox Church.
The first round, which focused on language and literature, was held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Yeghishé Manoukian College. 54 students from 16 Middle Schools and 12 Secondary Schools competed.
The second round, which will be held at the same location on Saturday, March 17, will focus on history, culture and topics related to the life of the Church, reported the Catholicosate of Cilicia Communication and Information Department.
