In summer due to the jubilee of 9-th world chess champion Tigran Petrosian a peculiar chess tournament is planned to be held between grand masters of Armenian origin and the world combined team in Moscow. The idea proposed by editor of Vestnik Moscow journal Karen Mikayelian has received a warm welcome in the chess world. Chess champion Garry Kasparov not only agreed to participate in the tournament, but also suggested his own option of holding the games, in connection with which discussions are held at present. It should be noted that measures devoted to Tigran Petrosian will be held in Yerevan and Stepanakert and 10-th world champion Boris Spassky will be their honorary guest.
