On occasion of his 80-th birthday famous French singer of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour will be awarded with the Belgian order of Leopold II. As reported by RIA Novosti, the decoration ceremony will take place in Brussels today. Minister of culture of the Francophone Society of Belgium Olivier Chastel will present the medal to the cabaret singer for the contribution to the development of the French culture. The jubilee concerts of the singer in Belgium are planned for this October.
