Israeli minister allows “Arkia” to operate direct flights to Yerevan

On November 5, Israeli Minister of Transportation allowed Arkia company to operate Tel Aviv-Yerevan direct flights.

According to Yisrael Katz, “direct Israel-Armenia flights are operated in the framework of air transport liberalization,” izrus.co.il reported.

The contract signed in 1997 enables the companies to operate air transportation between the two countries, with only the Armenian side having launched the flights so far.
