Armenian native, a certain Petrosyan, detained over robbery in Moscow, is suspected of murdering a 33-year old Muscovite last year. Petrosyan’s fingerprints matched those taken at crime site.
Earlier, Petrosyan along with Azerbaijani native Imanov were arrested over an armed robbery.
The robbers attacked a businessman, the director of Amitel Lts (restaurant chain) who was in a car with this driver, to further steal a sum of 16 mln 875 thousand rubles.Later, the robbers tried to escape in a car, to be chased by those robbed, which resulted in a minor road accident and a car crash.
The chase was noticed by the police, which joined in time to arrest the criminals when their car rammed into the street curb.
One of those detained was indentified as Armenian-born Petrosyan, wanted by police for earlier crimes, m24.ru reported.
