Over 900 instances of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani troops were reported at the line of contact with the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) armed forces from August 16 – 22.
Azerbaijan fired over 16 000 shots from various caliber weapons, including 60- and 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers, towards the Artsakh positions.
According to the Artsakh Defense Ministry press service, Karabakh frontline units took retaliatory actions to suppress the rival activity.
