The relative calm along the Nagorno Karabakh–Azerbaijan contact line was preserved overnight on June 15-16.
The Azerbaijani troops, however, used firearms to violate the verbal agreement on the ceasefire, also employing machine guns and sniper rifles in some parts of the frontline.
Karabakh Defense Army troops continue controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions.
