Macron wants Karabakh solution acceptable for all

French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed relief over the end of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, in a phone talk with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday, November 12, and said that a fair solution that is acceptable for all parties involved is necessary.

Macron said a meeting was organized at the Élysée Palace on Thursday to mobilize France's humanitarian effort.

The French President reminded about his country's friendship with Armenia and its people and noted his readiness to build a fair, lasting and acceptable political solution for all parties in Karabakh.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a deal to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday that he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
