American diplomat Chip Laitinen is the Deputy Chief of Mission of U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, and he has already arrived in Armenia, according to a social media post from the Embassy.
"He is excited to help lead the U.S. Mission to Armenia at such an important time in Armenia’s history and is eager to contribute to writing the next chapter of U.S.-Armenian relations," the Embassy said.
