Turkish Prime Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has thanked Armenia for assisting Ankara in overcoming the consequences of the devastating earthquake and searching for survivors.
Cavusoglu on Friday, February 17 posted a video featuring rescue teams from a number of countries, thanking each team in their own language.
He wrote “I am grateful” in Armenia on a picture of the Armenian rescuers in Turkey.
Death toll from the Turkey-Syria earthquakes passes 45,000. Total number of people killed in Turkey has hit 39,672. The Syrian government and the UN say more than 5,800 people have died there.
