Armenia’s Ambassador to France, Arman Khachatryan, met with General Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces, on July 25. They discussed a broad range of issues related to the friendly relations between Armenia and France, including defense cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on matters related to regional security, according to the Armenian Embassy in France.
Yerevan and Paris have signed an agreement on the acquisition of CAESAR howitzers. Additionally, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense and the French defense company KNDS have concluded a military-technical cooperation agreement.
