Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that his upcoming visits to Armenia and Belarus will prioritize strengthening the private sector’s role and promoting earlier agreements, particularly joint investment projects, Pastinfo reported, citing Mehr news agency.
He emphasized that his official trips are aimed at empowering Iranian private companies and advancing agreements already in place. These include cooperation in energy, transport, trade, investments, healthcare, environment, science, culture, and tourism.
Pezeshkian made the remarks during a discussion on Iran’s foreign relations, stressing the importance of broadening regional cooperation and reinforcing ties with neighboring countries.
As part of his Armenia trip from August 18 to 21, a business forum will be held in Yerevan on August 19.
