The Turkish government has welcomed the decision to dismantle the OSCE Minsk Group and its associated structures.
“We welcome the decision adopted on September 1, 2025, by the OSCE Ministerial Council to dissolve the Minsk Group and its accompanying mechanisms. This historic decision, made possible through the joint efforts of the two countries, marks one of the most significant milestones in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” reads a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, as reported by Factor.am .
On September 1, the OSCE Ministerial Council unanimously decided—with the agreement of all 57 member states—to terminate the Minsk Process and cease all related institutional activities.
