Azeri FM claims there are new proposals on Karabakh conflict

Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov claims there are some new proposals on Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution.

Mammadyarov made this statement following the meeting with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. In this context, he spoke about the expediency of organizing another meeting.

“Elections were held in Russia; France will hold its elections in April, Armenia in May, and the U.S. in November. However, this does not mean the talks should be frozen. We will continue negotiations. Perhaps a meeting with the Co-Chairs will take place next month to discuss principles of conflict resolution,” he said adding that the conflict parties fail to reach agreement on some of the principles.

“We will continue to work in this direction and can reach progress after the elections,” Mammadyarov said.
